Rolling pet carriers are becoming more and more popular these days, and with good reason.

You've probably noticed a lot more of them yourself when you've been out and about over the past few years.

 You can see them just about everywhere, from airports to vet clinics. They come in all sorts of styles; in fact, you've probably seen a few of them without ever realizing you were looking at a pet carrier.

And many of them have several uses besides just rolling your pet from here to there, while others are more of a single function item.

So if you want just a basic one, you'll have lots to choose from, but for people looking for rolling pet carriers with more to offer there's also a wide assortment available.

Many of them can also be used as a car seat for your little friend, and some of them are so comfortable that they can also double as a bed. Or how about using one as a backpack to carry your pet around?

As you can see, rolling pet carriers are a far cry from the hard, drab old fashioned kind of carrier people are used to transporting their pets in.

And many rolling pet carriers are within the allowed dimensions for carry on luggage for most major airlines. Not that you're supposed to actually bring your pet on board in one.

At most airlines that's a big no-no, and they will not be happy with you if you're caught, or worse, your pet gets loose.

But if you're traveling light, you could check your pet using an old fashioned plastic carrier, and carry on the other one to have with you when you arrive.

They really are extremely handy and once you have one you'll find yourself taking your pet along with you a lot more often than you used to.
