Pet Odor Removals

removing pet and dog odorsMost dog and cat owners have happy, contented and well behaved pets. The vast majority of them are house broken and litter trained, and rarely if ever make a mess.

But no pet is perfect, and most pet experts say that it's extremely rare for even the best trained cat or dog to never have an accident.

That's why every pet lover in America should always have some pet odor removal products on hand at all times. And learn how to remove pet stains and odor.

They should, but they don't. Many people will instead rely on carpet cleaning companies for pet odor removals.

This is a big mistake. Yes, it's true that most carpet cleaning companies will do pet odor removals, but it's not wise to use them. Unless you like throwing money down the drain. Because it's going to cost you a lot of money to have carpet cleaner take care of your pet odor problem.

Until quite recently, it didn't use to be all the expensive, but that's no longer the case. These days, with the price of gas being so high, companies have started charging trip frees, or gas surcharges. On top of that, many of them have a minimum order that's required before they'll come to your house.

In other words, if all you want is the pet odor gone, they're not going to drive to your house just for that. They'll expect to clean several rooms of carpet and probably a couple pieces of upholstery. And if you happen to find one that doesn't charge a minimum, guess what? You're going to get a very hard sell sales talk once they're in the house.

But there's no need to rely on carpet cleaners for pet odor removals. There are plenty of fine odor removal products that the homeowner can use themselves, immediately after finding the mess. And the products have improved quite a bit in the past few years, and should be just as good as what the carpet cleaner would use.

Home Remedies For Pet Odor

Should you use a home remedy for pet odour? If the urine stain is on a tile or other easy to clean surface, a home remedy may be sufficient. When the urine is on carpet, a wool rug, a cement floor, or on the furniture, the appropriate  commercial product will pay for itself.

So don't take chances - keep one of these products on hand at all times.
