Pet Meds: No
Prescription
Many pet owners spend far more money than is
necessary on their dogs and cats and other household
pets.
Now, don't get me wrong - I'm not saying you
shouldn't pamper your little best friend in the whole world,
and buy them comfortable beds, fun toys, and the foods they
love.
Not at all. In fact, I'm going to show you a
way that you can save money, and use it to splurge even more on
your cat or dog if you want. How? By saving money on pet meds.
No prescription is required for the vast majority of pet
medications. You can really get the lowest pet meds.
Many people aren't aware of this, but it's
true. Tens of thousands of people, if not more, think that any
time Rover or Fluffy needs a medication that they can only get
it from a licensed vet.
That's not the case at all. While there
definitely are some off limits to the public pet meds, no
prescription is necessary for the vast majority of the ones
that most people will be using from time to time.
That's right - if you know which medicine
your pet needs, you can buy it yourself and save the time,
hassle and expense of a trip to the vet.
And the savings can add up to be a
substantial amount over the life of your pet. When you buy your
pet medicaitons yourself, either locally on online, the savings
can total in the hundreds of dollars over the years, especially
if you have several household pets, or if you own one that's
prone to being sick a lot.
And most of the time, after the first trip
to the vet, you'll know what medication your pet needs. Things
like wormers you'll tend to use every few months or on an
annual basis; there's certainly no need to pay extra just to
buy it from the vet.
And if your dog or cat has a recurring or
persistent condition that requires treatment, you'll be using
the same prescription over and over in most cases.
Why pay extra? Just remember that when it
comes to most pet meds, no prescription is necessary.
