How to Get Rid of
The Smell of Cat Urine
Are you wondering how to get rid of the smell
of cat urine? Cats are great pets, and our lives would be
a lot more boring without them, but they do have accidents
from time to time.
Even a cat that you've had for years and has
never had an accident can suddenly leave you a nasty surprise,
completely out of the blue.
And you may not discover it for a few days.
But, boy, when you do realize that your cat had an accident,
you'll only have one question on your mind - how to get rid of
the smell of cat urine.
Because it's one of the strongest and most
unpleasant odors you can have in your house. And carpet
cleaning powders and things like Lysol aren't going to get rid
of the smell. Not by a long shot. And scrubbing with soap and
water isn't going to do the job either.

How about baking soda? That's been the best
known home remedy for cat urine smells for decades, but it
frankly just doesn't work very well as a cat urine smell
removal. It does seem to have the effect of making the smell a
little less pungent, but it's not much of a difference.
It doesn't come close to removing the odor,
especially when you have cat urine smell in carpet, sofa,
bed, or other hard to rinse items. When you need to
know how to get pet urine smell out of hardwood floors,
baking soda is not the way to go.
The same thing goes for the other popular
home remedy, vinegar. It can also reduce the strength of the
urine smell, but it doesn't even come close to removing it.
There's really only one way to get rid of the
smell of cat urine, and that's with products specifically
designed to removed cat urine odors.
There are several of them on the market, and
they work. They can have your house smelling fresh and clean
again in no time. But don't waste time with home remedies. They
simply don't work.
