Cat Pet
Strollers -How to Choose Quality
If you love your kitty and want to make travel
as comfortable as possible for her, cat pet strollers are
the way to go. While you could use a dog stroller, cat
strollers are a better option because they’re specifically
designed with a cat’s habits and preferences in mind.
Cozy and private
Let’s face it, even sociable cats rarely in the mood to bound
around the park licking the hands of strangers the way a
friendly dog would. Cats are naturally more cautious and
reserved and cat strollers are built with this in mind.
Usually the back portion of the stroller is
enclosed with a material that blocks the cat from view so they
can feel safe, but can still see out the front of the stroller.
Cat strollers are smaller not only because cats are smaller
than most dogs, but because the cozy space increases their
feeling of security.
Strong enclosure
Indoor cats are very likely to spook from noisy cars, barking
dogs, and even curious strangers who may approach. Needless to
say, a scared cat can leap away and disappear in a flash. Even
if your cat’s used to street life, though, there’s bound to be
a time when a bird or squirrel crosses kitty’s line of sight
and the hunting instinct overcomes her.
When your cat pet stroller is covered by a
strong yet soft enclosure, you cat is kept in the stroller safe
from danger on the street.
Quality design and material
Not everything that makes a cat stroller great is something
your cat will see, though. Other important aspects to look for
include nylon or stainless steel joints that won’t rust, large
diameter wheels that can handle gravel, leaves, and other rough
terrain, and front shock absorbers for a smoother ride (and a
less rattled kitty). Also consider whether you want a
four-wheeled walking stroller or a three-wheeled
all-terrain/jogging stroller.
Cat pet strollers make it easy to take your
cat to the groomers or vet and take her along with you for a
walk in the park now and then, too. Choose a quality stroller
designed especially with a cat’s needs in mind travel will be a
lot less stressful for both you and kitty.
