Boxer Puppy
Training -Are You Making These
Mistakes?
Training your Boxer Puppy can to be a well
behaved member of the house hold can be fun for both you
AND your new puppy. Training, done
the right way can ensure a deep bonding between you
and your dog.
Dogs, being pack animals, are very sensitive
to, and eager to please their master. That's You! Dogs are very
easy to train, especially when you start in the right way when
they are puppies. Having the right methods in the beginning can
make training an absolute snap.
Many well meaning dog owners do not
understand doggie psychology. They do not understand how a dog,
or puppy, associate a behavior to a reward, or to scolding.
The result is an owner acting
inconsistently, causing the puppy to not only not do the
desired behavior, or to stop an undesired behavior, but you end
up with a sad little puppy who does not understand why his
master does not approve of him.
Some folks seem to believe that as the puppy
grows she should "know better". Please remember (as far as
behavior goes) that the puppy only knows what she has been
trained to know.
The puppy will not grow up and mature into
the understanding that one should not pee under the living room
table, or to chew the life out of their masters sweet smelling
shoe.
Now, these types of behavior are so EASY to
correct. You just have to do it the right way.
