dog urine on garage floorHow To Rid Dog Urine Out Of The Garage Concrete Floor

Treating urine that has been absorbed into concrete can be a real challenge.  Especially when the urine has been there for some time, and when there has been repeated "applications" of dog urine. (Or cat urine)

Untreated concrete is very porous and urine can soak deeply into the material. As deep as a foot!

Using a pressure cleaner can backfire since it can force the urine even deeper into the concrete.

We recommend Anti Icky Poo. Possibly the best pet urine remover on the market, in our opinion.

Anti Icky Poo will eliminate the dog urine smell by actually consuming the dog urine particles that are imbedded into the concrete. It is the best way we know of how to clean urine stains in concrete.

Applying the product and allowing it to soak deeply into the concrete will allow the product to eliminate the urine. We recommend this product to clean cat urine from cement as well.

Concrete being one of the toughest materials to rid of dog or pet urine, may need two and sometimes more, applications.

  • First you clean the surface with a regular cleaner and water, just to eliminate some harsh chemicals that could disturb the action of the enzymes and bacteria in the cleaner.
  • Next, apply a liberal amount of Anti Icky Poo on ALL urine spots. (You may need a black light to find all of them) Then place a moist towel, covered by a plastic bag on top of the spot in order to prevent the Anti Icky Poo to dry out.
  • After one day remove the plastic bag, leaving the towel in place and allow the towel to dry naturally.

If some odors return after a week or so, repeat the application and you should be free of odor.
